Great end to a fabulous weekend...

Lillie Klein ended up 1st in her .95m Jumper class on Sunday. Olivia was 7th in the $1000 1.0m Stakes, and moved "Taya" up to the 1.10m class, which went very well. Abbey was 3rd in the $1500 1.10m Ch/Ad Stakes class on "Viatar", taking home good prize money in the final class of the day! I'm so proud of all my horses and riders - they all did an amazing job this weekend. Time to begin thinking about winter circuit...I can't believe HITS begins in 30 days!

"Lizzie" is learning to jump and "Lily" is improving her form!

"Royally Hot" (Lizzie) and "At Last" (Lily) had great schooling sessions this weekend. Lizzie jumped her first vertical with a gate and later, cleared her first baby oxer. She is proving to be a great hunter prospect - easy to ride, slow to the jumps and a bunch of fun! Lily is getting tighter with her front end everyday; we think she would make a fantastic Event prospect. -- Check both of them out on our website, www.saltwaterstables.com. --

"Red High Heels" is headed to Jacksonville!

Congratulations Kelley Sheffield on the purchase of "Red High Heels"! We look forward to following your success in the hunter ring next year!

SEC Show was a success!

Kiera and Lauren packed up the trailer last weekend and headed to Colleen's SEC Show in Bushnell with "Dante" and "Lily" in tow. It was the first time either of them had been hauled off the property and ridden at a different facility. They exceeded our expectations, performing better than anticipated. "Lily" took home a 3rd in the 2' Jumpers out of 11 or so, and "Dante" took home a 5th in the 2'6" Jumpers, which was only the second time he had ever jumped a full course in his life. We were so proud of both babies!
